How we quote

Every quote is written and line-itemed. It states the square count, the pitch, how many existing layers come off, the ice and water shield coverage, the underlayment, the shingle line and wind rating, the ventilation work, and a per-sheet rate for decking we find after tear-off. You should be able to hand our quote and a competitor's quote to a third person and have them tell you which is the bigger job. That is the point.

How we handle insurance

We inspect and document free. We do not file your claim, because it is your claim and your policy. We supply the evidence package, we are on the roof with your adjuster, and we submit supplements with photos and code citations when the initial scope misses code-required items.

Things we will not do

• Absorb your deductible. It is insurance fraud in North Dakota. Anyone offering it is telling you how they handle everything else.
• Shingle over an existing roof on a house. You trap moisture, you cannot inspect the deck, and you inherit whatever is failing underneath.
• Sell you a replacement you do not need. Plenty of our inspections end with us saying the roof has years left. That is a worse day for us and a better one for you.
• Take a large deposit before material is on site.

North Dakota registered contractor ND-CONTRACTOR-045021. We carry general liability and workers compensation, and we will send you the certificates before work starts without being asked.
